Congratulations to Verity for leading qualifying at the 2015 Queens.

LAKE WALES, FL – Wednesday, May 20, 2015. At last week’s USBC Queens, hosted in Green Bay, Wisconsin, four out of six Webber International University bowlers and alumni qualified in the top 63. The four players advanced to the double elimination match play.

Verity Crawley (pictured), a junior at Webber, just 20 years of age, dominated the field for 15 games of qualifying averaging 235.93. Unfortunately, she fell short in match play, losing both her matches. Diana Zavjalova who won the Queens in 2013, qualified in 6th place, and after winning a few matches, she finished in the top 10.

We would like to congratulate Webber bowlers and alumni: Amber Ottilige, Ashly Galante, Desiree Negron, Diana Zavajalova, Stephanie Martins and Verity Crawley on how they performed at this major event. The USBC Queens was the first event on the new Professional Women’s Bowling Association tour (PWBA). The tour is running throughout the summer, giving women an opportunity to show their bowling skills and compete against one another.
